Mindstorm Technologies Club ********************************** Energy Design Purpose of this club :- To create energy conservation awareness. Activities are mostly related to designing. What have We Done so far ??
[ Energy Design ]
During the first session we enter the club, the teachers in-charged divide the students to specific position such as the President, Male Vice President, etc. A little bit hard to choose because most of the students in that club refuse to hold the position but lastly, we manage to choose who should hold the specific position.
On that day itself, we are discussing on what we should do for the next and the next week when we meet again. Students listing the things we want and should do then we choose what thing to be done next week and what to be done the other next week.
Firstly, we do the Blogging. Before we do the blogging thingy, the expert teaches us on how to register and sign up for the blog, designing the blog, etc. this blogging thingy takes three week to complete it since it a little bit hard and the others find it difficult to understand.
After two weeks, we continuing our next task is to do a PowerPoint presentation on Recycle for the competition. We search online on the facts for recycle in Brunei. The teacher also show us the last year’s PowerPoint presentation made by Voon mei Jun who won the first place for the PowerPoint Slide Presentation. The production of the PowerPoint took two weeks, and it still hasn’t finish due to the less time.

[ Energy Discovery ]
The first session, they do the brainstorming and teamwork being trained. Students worked out a list of activities to be carried out during the CCA Academic.
The next week, they start doing their first project ‘Giant Card with Circuit Connection”. Based on the student’s plan, they create and build up the model by using the material they bought from home and shop. This project took four weeks to be done.
Then the other week, the students plan on the second project activity by giving out the list of materials needed and plan how to carry it out successfully.

[ Energy Newsgroup ]
The first session, communication skills, brainstorming and teamwork being trained. Student then decide on the list of activities that will be carried out during CCA period.
First task is to train students to collect data. They gather all the past electric bills from 2005 till 2009 and represent the bills collected in the form of bar charts.
Next, students are being trained to analyze data that they have collected. They then represent it in the form of bar charts and identify months where bills are particularly higher than the other months.
Then, the students interview other teachers to find out their views on energy conservation.

[ Energy Mindstorm Technologies Club ]
The first session, they are discussing with the students to elect the Head and the Assistant of Club. The students then checking and cataloging the Lego parts and decide on the list of activities that will be carried out during the CCA period.
First task is to train their skills. They went through the voyager level programming to familiarize themselves with the icon and symbols of operations. This task took four weeks to be done.
Then they continue doing the next task that is designing and program a Lego that can perform; maneuver around a right angle bend, maneuver up a steep slope, break through a simple barrier and shoot a projectile at a specific target. This task also took four hours to be done.
